Microgaming has decided to revisit a popular slot created by Triple Edge Studios and revamp the game with exciting new features. The Book of Oz series now has a new titled developed exclusively by Triple Edge, titled Book of Oz Lock ‘N Spin. The new game has five reels and ten paylines, featuring the same magic as the original release but added features including 2nd Chance and Hyperspins Lock ‘N Spin.
Features of the Game:
The new slot provides several features that help to enhance gameplay. Let’s start with the Hyperpins Lock ‘N Spin option. Found in the base game, this feature allows players to lock as many as four reels then spin again. The respin can provide more wins or unlock even more features of the game.
The book symbol in this title acts as the wild and scatter icon. If you find three, four or five of the books on the reels, you will start an extra spins feature. Three symbols provide 10 extra spins while four provides 12 and five offers 25. Players can then earn a special symbol in the extra spin round that will unlock more win potential.
It is in the extra spins round that the 2nd Chance feature is activated. With this feature, players can choose to keep the original symbol or reshuffle for a chance to upgrade the expanding symbol. When the special symbol expands, it will highlight on the reel and the potential for wins will increased as much as 5,000x the initial wager.
